This service is a production coordination service for professional printing of product labels to be used with matcha cans, bags of tea, etc. The final price, depending on what you need, will change according to your requests.

Features of washi labels

• This custom printed washi Japanese paper, also known as 和紙シール, has a unique texture that beautifully showcases the paper’s natural fibers. This makes it perfect for designs that require a Japanese-style atmosphere. The texture is slightly uneven due to the fibers, which may cause minor bleeding of the ink and the appearance of white fibers if rubbed. Keep in mind that due to the nature of the material, there may be visible fibers on the cut surface. If refrigerated after being applied, the washi stickers may slightly wrinkle due to the contraction and expansion of the material. Choose this washi paper for a friendly, approachable and helpful design application and enjoy its Japanese-style charm.

• Pricing: The fees listed here are deposits. You may purchase to get started, but request customization per size. Cost is based on square centimetres. 
• Production time: Please allow 8-14 days.
• Shipment time: Depends upon your region and the shipping method you choose (more info here). Expect 4-6 days by express airmail, or 1-2 weeks for Premium, 1-3 weeks for Standard Airmail, and 1-6 weeks for SAL.

Data Preparation Instructions

The artwork template will be sent to you via email upon confirmation of your selection and order.

• File type: Adobe Illustrator (*.ai) Please verify that the image is properly integrated (embedded) into the artwork.
• Layers:
  • Cutline layer – use a blue color
  • Contents to be printed
• Resolution: 350 dpi
• Color mode: CMYK (at least 3%)
• Any lines should be 0.15 mm in width or larger
• Bleed: 3 mm beyond cutline
• Padding: 3 mm within the cutline
• Text needs to be at least 1.5 mm in size

Alternatively, if you do not have access to a professional designer, send us the text in the instructions, and any graphics you would like used and we will put together a rough design for you (one minor revision is free, major revision or subsequent changes will incur a design fee).
